Kathy’s signs have found their way into many publications, including Early American Life Magazine, A Primitive Place Magazine, Country Sampler Magazine, and Judy Condon’s Series of books, just to name a few. Hidden Treasures is the creation of Kathy and Jeff Graybill of East Waterford, Pennsylvania. Fueled by their love of antiques and folk art of the past, this couple strives in their never-ending quest to create their own heirlooms of the future. Kathy is a self-taught artist whose media include folk art, Pennsylvania German fraktur, tole, and museum reproductions. Her unique and distinctive creations have found their way into many homes, stores, museum shops and galleries across America. Hidden Treasures offers a wide variety of reproduction furniture and accessories handcrafted by the artists, as well as tavern signs, one-of-a-kind antique pieces, and folk sculptures. New Creations of reproduction William and Mary furniture pieces, tavern tables, miniatures, and many new signs and carvings, show that the Graybill's are constantly growing as artists. Also, new this year and coming soon are hooked rugs, hooked wall hangings, and 3-D hooked pieces, by Kathy. About Douglas Root (Cabinet Maker / Joiner) Those of you that are familiar whit our work know that we have added the talents of Douglas Root, a master of cabinet maker's wares, to our line of furniture and accessories. Douglas has been making cabinets, chest of drawers, and historical reproductions with us for three years now. He brings 15 plus years of experience and attention to detail on such items as hand cut dovetails for drawers, hand turned legs for tables, and hand turned feet to case pieces. Each piece is entirely crafted by hand from rough sawn wood such as poplar, pine, and tiger maple. Doug and Jeff work together choosing which historical reproductions to reproduce and then Kathy hand paints the imagery on the pieces to create a true piece of heirloom furniture. Each piece is signed by Douglas and Kathy. It is then numbered along with a photo and a history of the original antique included. We are constantly researching and adding new pieces to our line. Check our site often or come to one of our shows to see our new Hidden Treasures. Douglas root also owns and operates Potomac Joinery, a custom furniture business in Landisville, PA. We have added the talents of Ralph and Susan Aument to join us in producing our ever growing line of Historical Reproductions. For the last 30 years they have been making unique, handmade reproductions of 18th & 19th century wooden ware. They have also sold their wares at Historical Reenactments, Craft Fairs, and shows at Mount Vernon, Fort Frederick, Fort Niagara, and the Army Heritage Museum to name a few, as well as other Historic Sites in the Eastern part of the country. Some of their wares have been purchased by those sites, and Museum's to be used in their interpretive programs and display's. Ralph and Susan have both recently retired after 30+ years of teaching in Pennsylvania's Public School System. Ralph is a graduate of Millersville University in Industrial Arts Education. He has been an avid woodworker his entire life. They reside in Selinsgrove, PA.

Hidden Treasures' diverse list of customers include retail shops, galleries, restaurants, and many, many homes across the globe.
