Primitive Hooked Rug Classes

Classes will be offered here at our show room as well as at your location. We come to you! Classes here at the showroom will be posted on our show schedule page. So, please check the dates. Classes offered at your location will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. Women's groups/Organizations, such as Church groups, Book Clubs, Rotary Clubs, or just a group of Women that want to get together and a have a class!

      We will offer classes for the beginner, as well as the advanced. You will learn the value of the wool, color selections, hooking techniques, cut sizes, etc. We also will have the necessary tools available for purchase. Hooks, frames, stands, cutters. As well as a full range of supplies, such as linen, wool, patterns, kits, etc. So, sign your Group or Organization up now! Get Hooking!

Minimum class size=8 people per class, maximum 20 per class.

$25 per person

We will come to your location. If overnight travel is required, the group will pay my travel expenses (motel, gas). Patterns, kits, wool, linen will be available for purchase at all classes. We will have a cutter, frame, and stand to view at each class, but those must be ordered either in advance or at the show. Payment will be required at time of order, and the equipment will be shipped directly to your home or location.

Supply Pricing:

Unbleached primitive linen=$25/yd.

Wool= $24 per yard

           $12 per 1/2 yard

           $6 per "fat" quarter yard

Hooks, stands, frames, and cutters vary depending on models. Please inquire for pricing.

Patterns, kits, etc. also will vary and depend on size, detail, etc. See 'Rug Patterns on Linen' section below for currently available patterns and kits. We also have some wood pieces available such as cupboards, carved hook racks to mount a small rug, shelves, etc.
